Introductions, not swipes.
Milaan is a pilot for human-led matchmaking in Toronto. Choose a vetted matchmaker who understands your community, receive a small number of curated introductions, and only meet when it's a yes from both sides.
How it works
-
One intake, done once
Tell us who you are and what actually matters to you — including your hard dealbreakers. You never repeat it, and you control what a matchmaker sees before you accept anything.
-
A human curates, and explains why
Your matchmaker proposes an introduction with photos, key details, and a written note on why this match. No feeds, no browsing, no algorithm deciding for you.
-
It only happens on a double yes
You accept or pass within 24 hours, with a reason. Meeting is arranged only when both people say yes — so your time goes to real dates, not dead-end chats.
Milaan is a founding-cohort pilot, not a launched app. We're starting small in Toronto/GTA with professionals aged 23–35 who want a serious relationship — and building the process carefully with the first group before anything scales.
Joining the waitlist doesn't commit you to anything. It gets you a short follow-up from a real person, and first access if the pilot is a fit for you.
Why this exists
I'm Karan — a Toronto professional in the exact demographic this is built for. My own experience with dating apps was the usual story: effort in, ghosting and dead ends out, and never any sense of progress. Matchmaking fixes that, but the good version costs thousands and wasn't built for people like us.
So I'm building the accessible, human-led version — starting here, with this pilot.
